Schools Outreach was established in 1973 to offer unconditional care and support for disadvantaged and hurting children and young people in schools within the UK.

In brief our pastoral care specialists work one to one and in groups with children and young people who are exhibiting signs of disadvantage, neglect or abuse, or are suffering from the loss of a loved-one. They also work very closely with parents, school staff and other child support agencies within the community.

The specialist offers friendship, a confidential listening ear and whatever help is practicable. This has meant deep involvement with children and families where serious physical, emotional, and spiritual deprivation exists.
