Schools Outreach has been placing pastoral care specialists into schools since the late ‘80s. Our experience and expertise in recruitment, training and support ensures high quality pastoral care provision for UK schools.
The Chief Executive of Schools Outreach, Dr. Gordon Bailey, has over 50 years of experience working with children and young people in schools. His expertise (particularly with reference to establishing an ethos of effective pastoral care, including the full provision of children’s needs) has been sought after by schools, local education authorities, youth organisations and churches for many years.
Schools Outreach will be closing in October 2010, if you would like to consult Dr. Bailey about pastoral care or related issues in schools please visit his website www.pastoralcareforkids.com and use the contact form.
Gordon also provides short courses on pastoral care, communication skills, basic needs and problem solving which are available to order through his website.

“I can certainly think of a couple of pupils had he not intervened I would have found it very difficult to keep them in school.” (head teacher)
“Adolescence is not an easy stage in life, and all teenagers need someone like our PCS. There isn’t a school in the country which would not benefit from the system.” (head teacher)
